Eye Drug Rx

Sodium Sulamyd (sulfacetamide) 15cc oph.soln 10 or 30% 1-2gtt q2-3h, ointm 10% qid+hs
Bleph-10 (Na-Sulfacetamide) ophthalmic 10% soln 2 gtts 4-6x/day
Blephamide liquifilm susp 1gtt 2-4x/d (Sulfacetamide + prednisolone)
Blephamide SOP ointment 3-4x/d
Ciloxan (Ciprofloxacin) 0.3% oph soln for bacterial conjunctivitis. 2.5-5cc
Ocuflox(Ofloxacin) 0.3% oph.soln 1-2 gtt q2-4h for 2 days, then qid for 5 more days. 5cc
Cortisporin oph.susp 1-2gtts q3-4h, ointment q3-4h (neomycin,polymyxin B,bacitracin, hydrocortisone 1%)
Erythromycin (Ilotycin) oph.oint 1-3x/d
Garamycin oph.soln 0.3% 1-2gtt q4h/5cc ointm 2-3/d 3.5 g tube (gentamicin)
Maxitrol opth.susp (dexamethasone,neomycin,polymyxin B) 1gtt 4-6x/d, ointm 3-4x/d
NeoDecadron oph.susp 1-2gtts q1-2h, then q4-6h later, ointm 3-4x/d (dexamethasone,neomycin)
Neosporin oph.susp 1gtt qid or more frequent prn, ointm q3-4h (neomycin,polymyxin B; gramicidin in susp & bacitracin in ointm)
Pred-G oph.susp 1gtt 2-4x/d, ointm 1-3x/d (prednisolone,gentamicin)
Tobrex (Tobramycin) 0.3% solution 1-2 drops q 1-4 hours or eye lintment thin strip q 8-12 h.
Vibramycin (Doxycycline) 100 mg bid PO for blepharitis or Stye (Chalazion/Hordeolum)
Zymar (Gatifloxacin) 0.3% solution 1 drop q 2-3 hrs while awake for 2 days, then qid for 5 more days. - for bacterial conjunctivitis.

Viroptic (Trifluridine) 1% eye solution 1 drop q 2 h up to 9 drops/day whil awake until cornea re-epithelializes, then q 4hr for 7 more days (not to exceed 21 days) for viral eye infection. (Shingles eye infection)
Alomide (Lodoxamide) 0.1% soln 1-2gtts qid (10cc) - for allergic conjunctivitis
Naphcon-A or Opcon-A oph.soln 1-2gtt q3-4h (naphazoline,pheniramine) - ocular decongestant
Vasocon-A oph.soln 1gtt qid (NForm) (naphazoline,antazoline) - ocular decongestant
Albalon-A oph.soln 1gtt (antazoline 0.5%,naphazoline .05%, benzalkonium .004%) - ocular decongestant
Opticrom 4% oph.soln 1-2gtts 4-6x/d (cromolyn)
